The Jason Stapleton Program - Here's Why the 1% Make So Much More Than You

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

Here's Why the 1% Make So Much More Than You

"Follow Jason on Locals! _____ The other day, Kanye West stirred up all sorts of headlines. He's done that a lot lately. On this particular occasion, he said, "Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves. She just had them go work for other white people." Understandably, most people stopped listening after the first sentence. But he was actually making a profound point, identifying a phenomenon that has persisted to this day. Most freed slaves weren't really free, because they just traded one form of slavery for another. Instead of being held captive by physical force, they were held captive by economic necessity. They didn't have economic power. They just traded chattel slavery for wage slavery. And wage slavery persists to this day. The vast majority of people don't control their own destiny. They've traded it for a salary. Thus they're effectively a slave to their employers, to their lenders, and to whatever economic turmoil befalls the nation. And of course that economic turmoil is only getting worse. In the end, those who survive and thrive through the next recession will be those with the mentality of the 1%."

The Jason Stapleton Program - Fear Not! More Stimulus Money Is On The Way

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

Fear Not! More Stimulus Money Is On The Way

"Follow Jason on Locals! _____ That's it. We've done it. We found the most "2020 American politics" thing you can find. Nothing is more emblematic of today's politics than the current debate between President Trump and Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi says that we need more stimulus money because the economy will suffer otherwise. She says anything less than $3 trillion means Trump hates poor people. Trump agrees that we need more stimulus money! However, he says $3 trillion is too much. $1 trillion is more like it. And thus we see how the cake is made. Democrats say, "Let's do a whole bunch of Thing!" Republicans say, "Are you insane?! That's ridiculous. We don't need to do a whole bunch of Thing, we just need to do a little bit of Thing." Meanwhile, all the money they're supposedly giving to poor people is just winding up in the pockets of rich people. It's almost like the game is working exactly as it's supposed to..."

Bari Weiss quits the NY Times and exposes the systemic hatred and bias of mainstream media. It used to be "if it bleeds it leads" now the mantra is "everything is about Trump." Regardless, their bias is transforming America and denial of that is just naive.

For over 2 years now Pelosi has claimed unreasonable and unconstitutional authority in the House. Even though the Constitution & Supreme Court now deny her subpoena power on the president, she asserts she can limit presidential pardon power by Congressional Act and Nader says they will issue more subpoenas.

The Jason Stapleton Program - It's Always the Poor Who Get Hurt the Most

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

It's Always the Poor Who Get Hurt the Most

"_____ Over the past several years, a specific phrase keeps popping up. You see it whenever the corporate press talks about any sort of economic issue. They always point out that "[insert issue] disproportionately affects the poor." Most recently, it's been the virus. You might see it phrased this way: "Poor and underprivileged are hit hardest by the effects of the coronavirus." But just a few weeks ago, it was police brutality. And before that, it was inflation, or voter registration, or job loss, or any other bad thing in the world. Now here's the thing. They're right. Bad things DO hurt poor people more. That shouldn't even be a surprise. Because if you're poor, by definition, it means you don't have the same means to protect yourself from bad things. But the problem here is, they aren't stopping at identifying a problem. They're insinuating--or outright stating--that the reason these people are poor is because of rich people. So the people who have figured out a way to protect themselves from bad things are the ones responsible for bad things happening to other people. This mindset is absolute poison. But it's ruling our world today. So you must first recognize that it's a lie. If you're poor, it's not because of someone else. It's your fault. Recognizing and identifying the problem is the first step to fixing it. Being broke is temporary. Poverty is a mindset. But even further, you need to recognize why the media is promoting this mindset, so that you can protect yourself from the ultimate consequences of it. The Jason Stapleton Program - Blast from the Past: You Ever Doubted Me?

This is another podcast from one of the many podcasts that I like to listen to. This one is from the Jason Stapleton Program, definately worth a listen!

Blast from the Past: You Ever Doubted Me?

"_____ If you've listened to this show for any length of time, you've heard the mantra: "Don't doubt me!" Yet somehow, some people just don't get it. A couple years ago, there was a huge hullabaloo when we rebranded this show. It was like the world was coming to an end. The hue and cry was ridiculous. "Jason doesn't care about liberty any more! Jason is abandoning his principles! If you don't spend all your time talking about politics, you're a sell-out!" However, as you'll see today, it's an absurd insinuation. We never abandoned the message of liberty. We just decided to start promoting it in a way that actually makes a difference. Over the past couple weeks, the Libertarian Party has doubled down on incompetence and self-immolation. I'd say that we hate to say I told you so, but we don't hate it at all. We love it. Meanwhile, the message of this show has been consistent for years. And today we're gonna prove it. Long-time listeners of the show will definitely recognize the voices you'll hear today. You'll recognize the stories too. But you may be surprised to hear the exact same themes that we still discuss every day, even after "abandoning the principles of liberty." Clip 1 - 11/2/15: "It's Not About Shame" Clip 2 - 6/20/17: "The World Economy is Changing. Here's How…" Clip 3 - 9/14/17: "Taxes, Spending, and Toxic Masculinity""
