I sat down with Lisa Ekman, former Democrat swamp creature and author to have a little chat. It was a great conversation and I'm looking forward to talking to her again in the future.

"Lisa Ekman spent twenty years as a democratic swamp creature working and living in Washington D.C. During that time she worked for two well known democratic senators, democratic appointees at federal agencies, government contractors, and several non-profit organizations. She was a disability advocate and lobbyist, working alongside people with disabilities to expand and improve federal disability programs.

 Lisa Ekman has a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, a master’s in social work from the University of Denver, and a bachelor’s in communication and rhetoric from Northwestern University. She moved to a farm in Virginia in 2020 after  she woke up and deprogrammed herself. She lives with her fiancé, their five dogs, and chickens on their farm, where they grow organic fruits and vegetables."

The Price of Sedition

Another week, more political drama. The left is on one flavor of nonsense, the right another. MTG is retiring, MAGA has forgotten that not everyone that voted for Trump is part of their ranks, the Dems are still trying to paint themselves as the real patriots, despite spending so much time bitching about every principle that the United States was founded on, a handful of congressional morons made a stupid video, and a bunch of people got taunted with bacon.

As always I have thoughts.

The Mean Tweets are back

I've been happy with some of what is going on in this administration, and not so happy with some of it. This episode was mostly inspired by a truth post I saw this morning at the gym, it sent me off on a tangent. It might make the MAGA crowd a little angry with me, but what can I say. The Shut Down Contiues

The government is still "shut down." The left is still blaming the cheeto, and the right. Low IQ high calorie individuals are talking about stealing because they aren't getting their free stuff. And there is a commie about to be elected to the Mayor of New York, a guy that looks like he should be stealing boats in the middle east about to be elected in Minneapolis, and people just being generally terrible. As always I have thoughts.
