How to make your own dishwasher detergent.

What I used to make my own dishwasher detergent is Ingredients Used : Borax
Super Washing Soda
Citric Acid (I got this at Wal-Mart for $2.97 a container for 7 ounces, Amazon $7.00 for 1 LB)
Kosher Salt

Option to use 7th Generation Dishwasher Detergent or whatever detergent you like to use

Take 1 cup of Super Washing Soda, 1 cup Borax, 1/2 cup kosher salt & 1/2 cup of citric acid. Mix together and you can use that for the dishwasher detergent. I use 1/8 cup of detergent per load in my dishwasher (Bosch)

I had found that after a few loads the dishes were not getting clean and had some weird debris on them. I had read to use lemon kool-aid in the mix which I tried and really did not notice much of a difference. I tried 1 packet all the way up to 8 packets per batch, and the dishes came out the same.

What I did try that worked, was to take the 3 cups of dishwasher detergent that I made, and then mix in 3 cups of the dishwasher detergent that I had previously been using, which is 7th generation. That gave me a total of 6 cups of dishwasher detergent and it seemed to clean the best (even better than using 7th generation by itself)

Cost Per Load:

I use 1/8 cup per load in my dishwasher (Bosch) Without the 7th Generation it comes out to be 12 cents per load (3 cups total) With the 7th Generation it comes out to be 10 cents per load (6 cups total)

Make your own turkey stock / broth

This only needs a few ingredients to make, and the nice thing is that you control what goes into it.
Basically just need

This works great for Thanksgiving or when you want to have some turkey meat in the house.
All that you need to do is take the turkey and place it into the crock pot, add the amount of vegetables that you want to add to it (for flavoring), then cook it on low for 10 hours (longer if the turkey is still frozen, but I highly suggest thawing the turkey first).

how to make a bacon wrapped, keto friendly, gluten free meatloaf.

The calorie count and the fat count can differ based upon the meat and the amount of bacon that you use. The grease that is in the bottom of the loaf pancan be saved and used to different purposes. It can be used as cooking grease, it can be used to flavor biscuits, flavor sausage gravy or other purposes. https://youtu.be/zExTg8MDQus

What is not to love about a meatloaf that is not only low carb, gluten free but also keto friendly?

Ingredients

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl with an handheld mixer, combine the first 12 ingredients. Mix on low until well combined. Take a regular size loaf pan or a bread loaf pan (same thing), and lay a few slices of bacon on the bottom of the pan to make a nice bottom. (I have found that lining the bottom of the pan with parchment paper makes taking the meatloaf out of the pan extremely easy!) Take the bacon and line the sides of the loaf pan so that you have a good wrapper for the meat loaf then using a metal spoon scoop the meat mixture from the bowl into the loaf pan.
Cook in the oven for 90 minutes, or until a meat thermometer shows 180-190.
Remove from the oven, let stand for about 5 minutes to let cool. You can also take this time to drain the bacon grease from the meatloaf pan and put it into a jar or something.
Bacon grease.

I have heard of some people leaving out 1/2 lb of meat and filling it with 8 or so ounces of cheese, such as cheddar cheese.
