Information can be like a virus and it would seem as if the media promoted disinformation about the recent executive orders has infected the population at large producing hysteria where none needs to exist. Holster review 2 - Alien Gear Holsters

Here is my review on the Alien Gear IWB cloak tuck 3.0 holster.

Watch this video on YouTube - https://youtu.be/avZWZ1AmXjQ

Watch this videon on Dailymotion http://dai.ly/x6htl80

Watch this video on DTube - https://d.tube/v/jmrados/thqk1w5s

I did a review a while ago on a few holsters that I have used either currently or in the past, to which that review can be found at http://www.techlibertyblog.com/index.cfm/2016/12/23/Holster-Review

This time I took a bit more look at the Alien Gear holsters, to which I now have a few of them (both right and left handed holsters) and the later ones have improvements over the first cloak tuck 3.0. In the first review I had mentioned that the clips were a bit flimsy, and to my surprise, Alien Gear commented on the video stating that they have made their clips much stronger now and that I can contact their suport department to get new clips.. How awesome is that!

In this video I had mentioned that the shipping on the first holsters had take a while to get to me, to which I have ordered from them a few times since then and have never had that issue again. I think that was an isolated incident to where they were experiencing a large influx of orders.

The holsters are very sturdy, I carry them all the time and they are the ones that I use. I will swap between 2 of them depending on what I want to carry that day, but they all get worn for at least 8 hours if not more and they also get worn when I am out hunting.

Some holsters that I have used are very uncomfortable, but these are definately comfortable as some times I dont even know that I am carrying my gun on me.

One thing that I like is that you can buy a single holster and buy additional "shells" for your holster so that one single holster with additional shells can work for many different types of guns. Some of the other things that they sell for the holsters are :

The one thing that I completely forgot to mention in the first part of the video, but is in the 2nd part, is that you can adjust the height of the holster as there are 3 holes on each side. If you want it to rest higher or lower, all you need to do is remove the clip and put it into the height that fits your needs. Not only can you adjust either the front height, the back height, the total height but you can also adjust the retention of the shell as well. They provide additiaonl rubber washers to where you can completely adjust the retention of the shell to fit your needs. These holsters are not only comfortable, but they are 100% customizable.

If you head over to their homepage http://aliengearholsters.com, you can see about 1/4 the way down they have some animated graphics on to what this all looks like and to what you can adjust.

They just start to carry magazine holsters, to which I had wished that their holsters had them built in, but to now have a good IWB magazine holster is great to which I may buy one soon and if I do, I will do a review on that. I will also do a review on the gun belt that I bought from Alien gear as well.

They have a deal on their website that starts at $48.00 for 2 holsters and the price goes up for what additions that you make to them, to which I see as a great deal. I cannot go into most gun stores and buy a cheap holster for the price that Alien Gear is charging for 2 of them.

The holsters that I have reviewed from Alien Gear have all been IWB or Inside the Waist Band, they do carry OWB or Outside the Waist Band holsters also

Taxes, Tariffs & Fines

Last night I went out for ice cream. My wife and I do that some nights after the kids go to bed of course.

On the way home I ended up getting pulled over and was issued a ticket for nearly $140. I'll tell you the whole story on the show today, but it really got me thinking about the barriers governments throw up that keep us from getting ahead.

Today President Trump met with Theresa May, the Prime Minister of Great Britain and one of the things she remarked on was how she and Trump agreed that they want to make the issues facing average citizens at the forefront of the discussion.

What the Prime Minister and so many others in government fail to realize is THEY are the problem. It's not individuals or companies or even other nations who play the villain; it's our own politicians who always seem to hurt the very people they aim to help.

This is a great show for sharing. Don't forget to subscribe!

Trump’s presence in the oval office has emboldened conservative voices in Congress. Is this a trend? Maybe principled, vigorous debate will become the norm. Maybe it might even result in legislation that restores the Constitutional balance of power. Alternatively you can listen to this edition of “The KrisAnne Hall Show” on YouTube

526: Donald Trump and the Wall- Everything You Need to Know

"

There's been a lot of hype about this wall. Tensions are high. Mexican President Nieto recently canceled his trip to meet with Trump to discuss the future of U.S. Mexico trade relations. It's a sure sign more drama is to come.

But how exactly does President Trump intend to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it? Can the President simply back out of NAFTA or modify the terms without consulting Congress? How much power does this guy have?

Today I discuss all of this in detail, and I think you'll find after we consult that pesky constitution that the president's power does have, it's limits. Of course, having limits on power hasn't stopped previous presidents from overstepping in the past, and with the House and Senate controlled by Republicans, I imagine there will be little pushback to the president's expansion of authority if he chooses to do so.

Thanks to all of you who share the show! We continue to grow!

Executive Orders & A CIA Director

"Executive Orders & A CIA Director01/25/2017 -

Putting Trump’s recent executive orders under the scrutiny of the Constitution. Do these executive orders honor the republic? Do they respect equal protection under the law, or maybe is President Trump possibly getting off on the wrong Constitutional foot. We all have great hope for President Trump but hope is never a good reason for letting […]

Do I need network cables, and if I do what kind?

This topic works fairly close with my other post about routers.

Just like the post about if you need a router and what kind, the question about do you really need network cables and if you do what kind do you need all depends upon what you are trying to do and what your current hardware is.

If all you want to do is surf the internet, play on social media, send emails and you have a laptop, tablet or a smartphone then the answer to that question is that you can pretty much rely off of your wireless. If you have desktops that do not have wirless cards in them then you do need to get either a wireless network card, or network cables run in your house.

If you have a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone and you also have a streaming device such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV , a Roku or other similar devices then you still should be able to get away with just your WiFi on your router, depending on if your router is good enough for that.

If you have multiple streaming devices and you have laptops, tablets and smartphones that use WiFi, you could be pushing the limit of your router to where internet slow-downs might start to happen or the streaming media on your TV will get choppy here and there as it is a lot of work for the router to do via WiFi.

If you are in the above where your internet is not perfectly stable, the first thing that you can do is to try to restart your router and or modem and try again. If it still persisits then you may want to hard-wire your streaming devices.

As for the type of cable that you can use also depends on the hardware that you have. If your router cannot handle gigabit, then there really is not much sense in getting the top of the line, latest up to date cable to which I think is CAT-7 right now, the norm is still CAT-5, which is widely available and easy enough for you to make your own cable runs and crimp the ends yourself.

If you do have a good router that has Gigabit capabilities and you are only wanting to run lines to your streaming boxes, then I would suggest getting a variation of CAT-6, to which can handle the Gigabit data transfer, and it is almost 4 times as thick as CAT-5e as it is shielded much better to prevent signal interference. This you can also do yourself, and the cable almost looks like the size of a Cable TV line. You will need to get special tools to do this, or you can measure our how long of a cable you need and order one online for CAT-6a. If you fully want to know the specs behind all the different cables (CAT-5, CAT5e, CAT-6, CAT6a and CAT-7, I would head over to differencebetween.com. They have a good writeup on the differences between CAT5,CAT6 & CAT7.

If it were up to me, I would do what I did and run CAT-6a as my router, switch and PC can handle gigabit. In another post, I willl go over the switch and if you need one of those or not.

Using hard-wired cable can releive some of the stress on your router and it can also make your network faster as data in the wires can travel much faster and push more data than over the WiFi signal can.
