So here we go: Americans, in general, are way too soft. Locking yourself down and staying home for several weeks shouldn't be a crisis. They're just stuck at home twiddling their thumbs for a few weeks. And they can't handle it. The real story here is that the virus isn't making people sick as much as it's revealing how sick they already were. For far too long, we've let our culture stagnate. We've relaxed into our immense wealth. We've taken it for granted while ignoring the warning signs of both physical and financial disease. Now, everyone sees the walls closing in around them. They're even talking about people getting PTSD from the "trauma" of being stuck at home. But here's the good news. You can train yourself to look past the doom-and-gloom narratives of the media. As I came into the studio today to finalize my show prep I thought the New York Times story on Trump would be a general mention but as I read through the allegations I realized it was so much more.

The Times got their hands years worth of tax returns, not from Donald Trump but for his father Fred Trump. The records call into question Donalds entire mythology. From how he got his start to how he built and maintained his empire.

I won't belabor it today but I was right again. It turns out you can make any claim you want and as long as it never sees the inside of the courtroom you can destroy a man's reputation

Julie Swetnick was interviewed on NBC and said she didn't know what Kavanaugh did or might have done. She said she never saw him spike punch or sexually assault anyone. She did say he was a heavy drinker and very handsy.

The truth is far different than her statements last week proving yet again you can never trust what you hear. Look for the evidence.

Crystal Mason was just sentenced to 5 years for trying to vote in the 2016 election. Her crime? She was a former felon and she cast a provisional ballot without reading the fine print.

But that's not what I find most amazing.

To me, the big story is just how masterfully Kim Jong Un has played this political chess game. I don't know anyone else in my lifetime who has done it better.

I'll give you my comments on the exchange and talk a little about the basics of property rights and self-ownership.
